PAIR OF BRONZE DORE EWERS. Spectacular pair of ewers in classical style have bronze dore foot and top cast in high relief with grapevines, leaves and clusters and a wonderful ram’s head at the base of the handle. The silver plated body of the ewers are cast in high relief with a parade of partying cherubs pulling a wagon carrying a lovely maiden. One cherub is feeding the maiden grapes. Each ewer is finished with a silver plated cherub setting atop the handle. SIZE: 22” t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-71725 (3,000-5,000)
