SIMON WILLARD & SON BANJO WALL CLOCK. The dial signed “Simon Willard & Son No. 4709”. The brass works is clean, pendulum, weight and key are present. Inside of case has brand “FIF Co”. Also labels from J. A. DeCelles & Co. Redding, Mass”. The throat glass and rectangular panel have reverse painted simulated flame mahogany veneer which appear to be original. Old gilt turned wood finial. PROVENANCE: From a fine Camden, Maine home. SIZE: 33”. CONDITION: Throat glass has cracks and lifting of paint. Bottom box board has been replaced.
