PAIR OF AMERICAN NEOCLASSICAL CAST-BRASS CANDELABRA. 2nd half 19th century. Each candelabrum with five sea-scrolled candle arms beneath a central candle cup. the candle cups cast with water leaves. All suspended with clear prisms. Joined to a central decorated standard, joined to a tripartite base. Each side decorated with a cast flower head on a concave molded plinth with splayed cast feet,scrolled returns and toes. SIZE: 18-1/4″h (overall). PROVENANCE: From a private Connecticut home. CONDITION: With overall wear to gilded surfaces, somewhat tarnished, otherwise very good. 9-22627 (2,000-3,000)
