ISFAHAN ORIENTAL CARPET, NORTH PERSIA. Second half 20th century. Hexagonal poled turquoise central medallion on wine red field within deep and medium indigo spandrels. Densely populated overall with polychrome flower heads. Blue/black main border with floral latticework and with eight guard borders, all with polychrome devices. SIZE: 9′ 2″ x 12′ 2″.
