PIERRE JULES MENE (French, 1810-1879) HANGING PHEASANT PLAQUE. Interesting bronze mounted on an oak panel which is stamped “PJ Mene”. A well detailed bronze shows the bird hanging from its leg with one wing folded, the other one out. Wonderful dark patina. SIZE: 7-1/2″ x 5″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-96787 (400-600)
