SWEETSER & CO. STERLING SILVER BOX WITH JADE HANDLE. Late 19th/early 20th century. The rectangular box fitted with a conforming lid, mounted with a jade handle depicting a dragon and lizard, opening to a mahogany lined interior, decorated overall with chased Oriental landscapes. The underside of the box with the marks “S&E” within a rectangle, the model #6131 and “STERLING”. SIZE: 4-1/4″ h x 7″ l x 5-1/2″ w. CONDITION: Very good overall with normal wear from polishing. 9-96619 (400-600)
