IVORY INK SCREEN. 18th century, China. Scene of a scholar conversing with a monk in a room interior. Reverse decorated with a cursive poem. Traces of polychrome color remaining. Accompanied by fitted rosewood stand. SIZE: 8″ h x 4″ w. CONDITION: Very good with appropriate vertical old cracks with repair. Otherwise good with mellow patina. Stand with small losses to bottom of frieze, otherwise very good. 7-73442 (300-500)
