PAIR OF MONUMENTAL STERLING SILVER CANDLESTICKS BY TIFFANY & CO., NEW YORK. Each having the Tiffany mark as shown as No. 23 in the Tiffany Silver book by Carpenter. Each numbered “19872 4654”. Each marked “Special Hand Work”. One is marked “1”, the other “2” with the bobeches marked “1” and “2”. Each stick is monogrammed on its base with a conjoined “SW”. The round base candlesticks having removable bobeches with a spiral rope type edge corresponding to a ring at the base of the tapered six-sided shaft and round base. All hand hammered work with the addition of a drip-style accent below the shoulder rim. WEIGHT: 148 troy oz. SIZE: 16-1/2″ h x 8-3/4″ dia. at base. CONDITION: Both bobeches rims are slightly warped.
