EMILE ALBERT GRUPPE (American, 1896-1978) WINTER SUNSET. Colorful oil on masonite winter scene shows two tall trees on angled snow bank of small brook. Small evergreen trees are seen lining meadows. The light reflects on pink and white clouds against a blue sky. Signed lower right. Housed in a period gilt molded wood frame with gold liner. SIZE: 7-1/2” x 10-1/2”.
