GAZO FAMILY CLOCK FACTORY “MISSION BAY” SHELF CLOCK. Third quarter 20th century. This fine and original oak case carved on the inner side of the door “Gazo 80” in script. The square brass face etched with a scrolling foliate border centering a dial with enamel Roman numeral chapter ring. The eight-day brass movement with eight striking bell hammers. The brass back plate stamped “GAZO FAMILY/CLOCK FACTORY/Western Germany”. Also stamped with the serial number “8 79”. The oak case stamped on the rear with the serial number “MB/599/0”. Carved in the Gothic style with a molded plinth raised on cast brass claw feet. SIZE: Ht 26″ Overall width 16″ Overall depth 10 1/2″ CONDITION: In very good original untouched condition. 9-97427 (600-1,000)
