Molded metal shield with an allegorical scene of Zeus mounted upon an eagle hurling thunder bolts on a mob of semi-nude warriors in battle within a cartouche supported by a figure of Athena with outstretched arms and within a scrolling border of nudes, warriors, hunters and dragons. SIZE: 29″ h x 21″ w. CONDITION: Structurally good showing appropriate wear to raised surfaces. 9-22227 (400-600)
