*COLT SAUER BOLT ACTION RIFLE WITH ZEISS SCOPE AND BOX. SN CR15140. Cal. 270 Win. 24″ tapered round bbl made without sights. Top of bbl marked “Colt’s PT F.A. Mfg. Co. Hartford, CT. U.S.A.”. Left side over chamber “Cal. 270 Win”. Receiver on center left side is marked “COLT SAUER/SPORTING RIFLE” with rampant Colt emblem in front and Sauer’s emblem behind. Forward right side of receiver “Made in W. Germany/By JP Sauer & Sohn”. Topped with rings and bases housing Zeiss 30mm 3-12 X56 scope with thick duplex. Mounted with streaky walnut contrasting forend tip and grip cap with white line spacers, checkered side panels on forend, checkered pistol grip, Monte Carlo with left side cheek piece and black Colt Sauer vented recoil pad. Accompanied with original wood grained box with proper end label. Gun has a total of three factory magazines. PROVENANCE: Dr. Charles Bradley, Lubbock, TX. CONDITION: Extremely fine as gun appears test fired only. Retains virtually all of its original factory finish with only a couple minor handling marks.
