UNIDENTIFIED KENTUCKY FLINT RIFLE. NSN. 34 Cal. 44” oct bbl. Engraved “LB” in script on the top flat of the bbl. Unusual construction has the lockplate screw entering from the right hand side and fastening to the breech plug. No patchbox has been installed. CONDITION: Brown patina overall with spots of light surface rust and pitting. Stock is cracked from the rear of the trigger plate to the top of the comb. Mechanically fine. Wm.
