FINE PAIR OF POLYCHROMED CHINESE COVERED DUCK TUREENS. Two part tureens have top section with yellow background, colorful blue, red and yellow feathers. Head stands erect and slightly turned with gray bill. Base has yellow ground with just the ends of the wings in color. End has signature mark. One tureen is marked “14” on both parts, the other “23”. 19th Century. SIZE: 10” h x 13-1/2” l x 8” w. CONDITION: Very good. 9-92788 (3,000-5,000)
