*BELGIUM BROWNING GRADE II AUTO 22 WITH CASE. SN 7T51217. Cal. 22LR. 19-1/2″ round bbl, dovetail front sight with gold bead, flip up adjustable rear sight. Top of bbl is marked “Browning Arms Compan St. Louis, MO. & Montreal P.Q./Made in Belgium”. Left side marked “22 LONG RIFLE”. Right side “BROWNING PATENT”. The silver receiver is engraved with standard grade II pattern, left side with foliate bouquets and large oval with two prairie dogs. Right side has similar bouquets and oval with two squirrels on branch. Top of receiver has matching bouquets and oval with duck taking flight. Standard gold trigger. Mounted with nicely figured walnut, checkered pistol grip with oval loading port on right side. Standard forend with multi-point checkering. Gun is accompanied with dark brown Browning luggage case with dark brown fuzzy interior. PROVENANCE: Dr. Charles Bradley, Lubbock, TX. CONDITION: Extremely fine as gun appears test fired only and retains virtually all of its original factory finish. Top of receiver shows evidence of dried preservative and wood has a few of the tiniest handling marks. Mechanics are fine with a bright, shiny, new bore.
