FOUR BLACK FOREST STYLE VICTORIAN WALNUT SHELVES. Second half 19th century. First example; a corner shelf, with scrolled sides and shaped shelf centering the carved bust of a deer, the whole with incised gilt decorated accents and ebonized elements. The three smaller examples; each with shaped back, mounted with a deer’s head, wolf’s head, and hound’s head, all with shaped shelves and pendant finials. SIZE: Largest: 18-3/4″ h. Smallest: 11″ h. PROVENANCE: Dr. Charles Bradley, Lubbock, TX. CONDITION: All with early, if not original surfaces. No structural damages or repairs noted. 9-21230 (700-900)
