RICHMOND MUSKETOON. Cal .64 smooth bore. 28” bbl, iron nosecap, brass buttplate, 2 bbl bands marked with “U”’s, bbl marked with “V” over “P”. Rear sight is correct, front sight crudely cut short from square base and pinched blade. Ramrod is swelled. Lock plate marked “CS/RICHMOND, VA” forward of hammer and behind hammer is “1863”. CONDITION: Overall good with normal pitting around bolster and lock area in contact with bbl. Bbl has brown patina overall. Mechanics good. 4-50169 (6,500-7,500)
