CASED COLT POCKET MODEL THUER CONVERSION REVOLVER. Cal. 31. SN 179836. Silver-plated finish with 4-15/16″ oct bbl, 2-line Hartford address, 5-shot cylinder with silver-plated brass grip frame and 1-pc walnut grip. Conversion ring is number “34”. Accompanied by a mismatched 5-shot percussion cylinder. Also accompanied by a converted cutlery box with red velvet lining & partitioned bottom. CONDITION: Very fine. All matching except the wedge, which is unnumbered. Overall retains about 95% strong orig silver plating with the rammer retaining about 50% faded case colors and the hammer 60-70% faded case colors. Cylinder retains 95-98% stagecoach holdup scene. Grip is fine with worn edges and retains 88-90% orig varnish. Good mechanics, strong bore with moderate pitting. Forcing cone end of the bbl appears to have been slightly trimmed. Spare cylinder is heavily pitted with a cleaned metal color and retains 60-65% stagecoach holdup scene.
