LEWIS C. EWER (American, 19th/20th Century) TROPHY BROOK TROUT. Outstanding oil on canvas scene shows a large brook trout against a rock and grass ground under a blue and cloud sky. Signed lower right “Lewis C. Ewer 1877”. Housed in its original magnificent gilt gesso decorated frame with inner gold liner having old name tag and date. SIZE: 18” x 30”.
