PAIR OF CHINESE CHIPPENDALE STYLE CARVED MIRRORS. 20th century. Nice pair of benchmade mirrors. Each crested by a stylized carved pagoda, flanked by foliage and rocky outcroppings above the molded frame embellished with foliate C-scrolls. The frame comprised of carved columns and pierced 3-dimensional foliate vinery, with exotic birds at the mid-point above candle shelves, the apron with C-scrolled foliate cartouche. SIZE: Each 54″ x 38″. CONDITION: Both with original polished surfaces. One mirror with professional repairs to bird and vines, otherwise very good.
