SMITH & WESSON #3 FRONTIER MODEL DA REVOLVER. Cal. 44-40. SN 12358. Blue finish, 6″ key hole bbl, marked on the left side “44 WINCHESTER CTG”. It has small Smith & Wesson logo on the right side of the frame and Smith & Wesson embossed hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Overall retains 40-50% thin orig blue with the bbl mostly a silver/brown patina and the back edge of the frame & grip frame a light brown patina. Grips are turning chocolate and show moderate wear. Mechanics are fine, with strong bright bore & fine scattered pitting. 4-56421 JR378 (1,250-1,750)
