UNSIGNED (19th Century) THE GARDEN VERANDA. Nice oil on canvas scene shows the back of a large house/hotel with large porch having flower garden edges and lawns. Two women in fine dress and hats are seen with a man on bench reading. A flowery trestle is seen on right side. A sloped mountainside reminiscent of a New Hampshire, White Mountain scene with palatial hotel. Housed in what may be its original fancy deep gesso decorated gilt frame. SIZE: 18” x 24”.
