TERESA HAUSMANN & SONS STERLING TRUMPET VASE. New Orleans 1894-1906. This fine example heavily chased and decorated with clusters of fruit and flowers, strawberry vines, sea scrolls and flower heads with everted rim. Marked within the base rim “STERLING/T. HAUSMANN & SONS” above the mark of a hand centering the word “made”. The upper rim with cartouche in which is inscribed a monogram. Weight: 32 troy oz. SIZE: 14-1/2″ h x 10-1/4″ d. CONDITION: Very good overall with no imperfections, damages or repairs noted. 9-96623 (1,500-2,500)
