COLT MODEL 1855 MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 56. SN 1984. 31-1/4” rnd bbl. Standard Colt markings on top and left side of the frame. There is a piece under the trapdoor on the buttplate but it is held in place by verdigris. Bayonet lug on the right side of the bbl. CONDITION: Gray to brown patina overall. Wood is very good with light handling marks. Mechanically good. 4-57292 (5,000-8,000)
