IDENTIFIED COLT MODEL 1860 REVOLVER. Cal .44. 7-1/2” bbl. Serial number occurs on bbl, frame, trigger guard, backstrap. No numbers found on wedge or cylinder. Loading arm possible replacement. Residual cartouche visible on right stock. Bbl address about 50% visible. Modern brass tag attached states gun belonged to a member of the 4th Kentucky Cavalry. Consignor misplaced paperwork but it can be re-obtained through Springfield research. SN 65398. CONDITION: Fair to good, with pitting overall. 4-49683 JS6 (500-600)
