WELCH SPRING & CO. “WAGNER” HANGING MODEL PERPETUAL CALENDAR CLOCK. Third quarter of the 19th Century. The carved walnut case with domed molded cornice, the double dials mounted within molded surrounds flanked by colonnettes. This perpetual calendar clock with B.B. Lewis mechanism and eight-day spring movement with strike. NOTE: This is the early model with top & lower trim attached to door. Pendulum present, no key. SIZE: 32-3/4″ h x 16″ w x 5″ d. PROVENANCE: Dr. Charles Bradley, Lubbock, TX. CONDITION: Extra pieces accompany clock which may or may not be original, replaced bottom finial and some trim pieces.
