SHERATON STYLE CARVED MAHOGANY SOFA. Second third 20th century. The three panel crest rail each carved with a bow-tied sheaf of wheat above the conforming upholstered back joined to the down sloping reeded arms on swelled reeded columnar supports centering the over upholstered seat raised on 4 cylindrical reeded tapered frontal legs, the outermost headed by inlaid patera, the rear raised on backswept square legs. SIZE: 75″ l overall. CONDITION: Retains original cleaned finish, rich mahogany color, very good overall. Silk striped fabric clean. 9-96495 (1,000-2,000)
