BELLE EPOQUE BOULE VALUABLES BOX. Late 19th century. This nice mahogany example of a Louis XV piece mounted with a pair of portrait busts in the lid, the brass inlays all chased. Raised on canted brass bracket feet. SIZE: Ht 3″ Overall length 9″ D 5 1/2″ CONDITION: One end with damage to boule and interior mahogany liner, a result of it being impacted. Rear foot, same end, has been re-attached. Boule otherwise intact. 9-96977 (3,000-5,000)
