KENDALL UNDERHAMMER RIFLE. Cal. 52 Smoothbore. 28-7/8” octagonal bbl, marked “N. KENDALL / WINDSOR VT” on the top flat of the bbl and “SMITH’S / IMPROVED / PATENT / STUD / LOCK” on the bbl tang. Birdseye maple stock. CONDITION: Gray patina with many dents and pits. Missing rear sight. Front ramrod pipe is loosened. Ramrod is a replacement. Stock has been repaired and refinished. Mechanically good. 4-52614 FS56 (500-700)
