WELCH “AUBER” MODEL DOUBLE DIAL CALENDAR CLOCK. Third quarter of the 19th Century. The rectangular case with arched molded crest flanked by turned colonnettes. The double door opening to perpetual movement calendar dials and additionally fitted with a B.B. Lewis calendar mechanism and eight-day movement, weight driven with strike. Pendulum and two weights present, no key. SIZE: 36-1/4″ h x 20″ w x 8″ d. CONDITION: Retains original finish. Bottom of case is missing and felt over lower mechanism cover is also missing. Bottom door key present, but not working lock. 9-21112 (2,000-2,500)
