WATERBURY “AUGUSTA” MODEL OAK WALL CLOCK. Last quarter of the 19th Century. The ornately carved oak case with cast metal mounts, the dial with Roman Numeral chapter rings, the lower section with open well design flanked by spiral twist columns. Double weight time-only eight-day movement with chain pulls having acorn finials and with original brass spiral twist weights. Pendulum & two weights present, no key. SIZE: 50-1/2″ h x 18-1/2″ w x 6-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Nicely rubbed down case and oiled, dial repainted several years ago. A nicely restored clock. 9-21141 (2,000-2,500)
