HILLIARD UNDERHAMMER RIFLE. CAL. 38. 23-1/4” octagonal bbl, marked “D.H. HILLIARD / CORNISH. / N.H. / 1932” on top of the bbl. The initials “C.H.W.” are engraved in scroll on the cheekpiece inlay. CONDITION: Rust/brown patina overall with spots of surface rust and dents. Stock is cracked at the hammer screw and has a large gouge out of the cheekpiece, otherwise showing normal handling marks. Ramrod is missing. Nipple is a replacement. 4-52793 FS185 (600-900)
