RELIC MODEL 1816 FLINTLOCK PISTOL. Cal. 54. Has all the appearances of the Model 1816, no visible markings except a “US” proof at the breech end of the bbl. It has all iron furniture with a brass upward tilting pan, is about 15-1/2” overall length with a brass sight on the front of the split band. CONDITION: Severely pitted from exposure with the wood also eroded. Top jaw appears to be a replacement as are the two lock screws and the ramrod. Stock has a crack behind the sideplate and is missing a large chip of wood by the upper screw. Mechanics seem to function. 4-51041 JR528 (200-400)
