*SMITH & WESSON MODEL 36 TARGET DA REVOLVER. Cal. 38 spcl. SN 150019. Early flat latch model with blued finish, 2” bbl, adjustable sights, and square butt with diamond checkered medallion walnut grips. Accompanied by an early silver and blue 2-pc box with silver metal corners and tools. Also accompanies is a 2-page letter from Smith & Wesson dated June 14, 1999 over the signature of Roy Jinks identifying this revolver as 1 of a total of 2,517 revolvers built 1955-1977. This one was shipped May 20, 1960 to H.H. Harris Company Chicago, IL. CONDITION: Very fine-extremely fine. Retains about 95-97% strong bright original finish with minor edge wear, a fine cylinder line, and thin backstrap. Grips are fine with bright shiny bore.
