FINE SCOTTISH TRAVELERS PISTOL. Cal. 54 Smoothbore. 8-1/4″ octagonal bbl, marked “MC CRIRICK, AYR.” on top of the bbl. McCririck only appears on the lockplate. Light scroll engraving on lockplate, hammer, bbl and triggerguard. The captive ramrod fittings are also engraved. CONDITION: Fine overall. Gray patina showing good Damascus pattern on the bbl, light casehardening on the lockplate with traces of color showing, the triggerguard has about 80% of its original bright blue. Wood has about 90% of the varnish with numerous small dents and scratches. 4-52975 FS208 (500-1,000)
