LOT OF 2 BLACK POWDER PISTOLS. 1) Allen and Thurber Bar Hammer Pepperbox. Cal 32. Belt size pepperbox with 3-1/2” 6-shot, fluted bbl cluster, attached nipple shield, engraved receiver with 2-pc bag shaped grips. CONDITION: Worn, silver brown patina, missing 3 screws from nipple shield, refinished grips, mechanics need attention. 2) French Flintlock Pistol. Cal about 62. 9” oct to rnd bbl with rib, 1-pc stock with replacement iron ramrod. Brass furniture with fancy thumb plate with filigree sideplate with a dolphin. Fancy trigger guard with floral finial and a demon face. The wood has raised carved teardrop side plates with raised carving around the trigger guard, nose pipe and bbl channel. There are small raised carvings between the trigger guard and nose pipe. Large brass butt cap. CONDITION: Fair, crusty brown bbl, dark brown patina on the brass, missing sliver from bbl channel and a large sliver around the lockplate. Trigger guard is sprung.
