Please Note: We have discovered that the finial is carnelian not coral. Also Please Note: The lid has a teeny soft indenture which may be a teeny polished chip and there are a couple of natural occuring fissures in the lid.

CARVED JADE INCENSE BOX. 19th century or earlier, China. The diminutive circular box with conforming lid carved overall with floral sprigs with a carved coral knop, of highly translucent white stone. The lid with Mughal style scrolling floral vinery. SIZE: 1″ h x 2-1/4″ dia. CONDITION: Very good. 9-26727 (3,000-5,000)
