TURNER, LULL & CO UNDERHAMMER RIFLE. CAL. 41. 25-1/2” oct bbl, marked “TURNER, LULL & CO / WOODSTOCK VT” inside engraved brackets on top of the bbl. Benjamin Turner and the Lull brothers were in Woodstock in the late 1840’s. This rifle is typical of those produced in that area. The adjustment screw on the cantilever sight is missing. The protection cup around the nipple appears to be a later addition. There is an extra rear sight slot in the bbl. CONDITION: Gray/brown patina with light pitting overall. Stock has been broken and has repair plates and a new hammer screw installed. It has been repaired and is now broken again. Mechanically good. 4-52828 FS152 (800-1,200)
