FRENCH SILVER HARPSICHORD Wonderful little silver harpsichord has relief scene on top of woman playing a stringed instrument and man seated listening. The scene is framed in floral scrolls with a bird at one end. Bottom of harpsichord has a relief scene of a man bringing a bouquet of flowers to a woman. Bottom shows three hallmarks; one with rearing lion, one with rooster and one circle divided into three sections with what appears to be a mushroom in each section. Front cover of harpsichord is hinged and lifts to reveal keys and strings. SIZE: 2″ l x 1″ w. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-64976 (300-500)
