PAIR OF SHOREBIRD DECOYS. First half, 20th century. Probably sand pipers, this pair of decoys, rendered with mottled plumage and black throats. The beaks fashioned from nails. Both mounted on a driftwood base. SIZE: 11-1/4″h x 15″l. CONDITION: Painted surfaces with wear and with some buckshot holes, otherwise very good. 9-22931 (500-800)
