Oil on wood panel interior scene shows a man on his knee proposing to a young lady in an elegant green and white dress who is holding a fan. A lavish colorful interior shows furniture, Oriental rug, mirror and a red drape having a young woman peeking at the couple. Signed bottom right “B. Sachs”. Housed in a snakeskin style decorated gilt wood frame with gilt liner. SIZE: 10″ x 8″. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Very good. 9-94816 (800-1,200)
