THOMAS HIRAMS HOTCHKISS (American, 1857-) THE RIVER BRIDGE. Oil on canvas summer scene shows a wooden bridge flanked by large rocks which has small river going into pond area. Opening through woods is framed by two large trees. Signed lower left “T. H.” Housed in a replacement gilt wood gesso decorated frame. SIZE: 22” x 14”. CONDITION: Two patches on reverse, restored with inpainting. 9-98974 (500-700)
