Additional Information: Please note that we’ve cataloged this piece as Tiffany and there is an old reference book that has a piece with the same decoration which is referenced in our description. It has been brought to our attention that a similar vase is illustrated in Ray Barlow’s book on Sandwich Glass. This piece can be either and you can be the judge.

TIFFANY EXPERIMENTAL FAVRILE VASE. Outstanding Tiffany vase has platinum iridescent pulled feather designs descending from the lip. Platinum iridescence has strong pink highlights and design is set against a dark blue (almost black) iridescent background. Signed on bottom “L.C.T. X2743”. Similar example can be found in the book Louis C. Tiffany’s Glass-Bronze-Lamps by Robert Koch, illustration no. 45. SIZE: 4-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-63629 (5,500-7,500)
