TUNIS PONSEN (American, 1891-1968) “A DUTCH FARMHOUSE”. Oil on canvas farmyard scene shows a white stucco house with open yard having many chickens. A girl is seen on right side of house and figure is in doorway. Signed lower right. Housed in its original painted over gilt molded wood frame. There is a Detroit Institute of Art exhibit label with title and artist. Also identified and titled on stretcher. SIZE: 20” x 24”. CONDITION: There is a 1-1/2” slit in sky, otherwise very good. 9-27661 (1,500-2,000)
