FINE AMERICAN GRAIN PAINTED OPEN TOP CUPBOARD. Second quarter 19th century, possibly Ohio. This nice example with hooded top above two open graduated shelves, the one board shaped sides with demilune cutouts at the base centering an open medial shelf above a two board cupboard base, the interior with two fixed shelves. The whole finished in original cream colored grain decoration. SIZE: 81″ h x 39″ case w x 23″ d. CONDITION: Very good overall, surfaces and hardware original. Old repairs to splits at top middle of sides. 9-22018 (1,500-2,500)
