3 FEDERAL STYLE INLAID MAHOGANY CARD TABLES. Mid-20th century. The first, a benchmade example of a Massachusetts card table, inlaid with conch shells centering an oval fan inlaid patera, the legs with string inlay, both rear legs hinged, the top edges with contrasting diamond string inlays (30-3/4″ h. x 36″ w. x 18″ d.). The second example with a central urn inlay, barber pole stringing and piano hinges (30″ h. x 36″ w. x 17-3/4″ d.). The third example inlaid with a displayed eagle and incurved corners, the front legs headed by an inlaid urn, with piano hinges and having a swivel top with fixed legs (30″ h. x 36-3/4″ w. x 18-1/2″ d.). SIZE: As noted above. PROVENANCE: From a large Boston, MA area Estate. CONDITION: Each table in original good condition with no noted restorations.
