JOHN LORD BRASS SPEAKING TRUMPET. First quarter 19th century. Brass speaking horn with shaped molded mouthpiece, inscribed in script on bell “John Lord”. John Lord, a Kennebunk native was, among other things, first keeper of the Goat Island Light. SIZE: 18-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Very good, showing expected and normal dents and indentations resulting from use. 9-96458 (1,000-1,500)
