BRITISH ROYAL NAVY MILITARY MEMBERSHIP PLAQUES. Last half of the 20th Century. The first example carved in mahogany and gilt paint decorated listing the Superintendents and Officer’s in charge of the Royal Navy Torpedo Factory “Alexandria”. From the time period of 1909 through its closing, January 4th, 1971. The second mahogany plaque listing the Flag Officer’s in command of Carrier Squadrons in both the home water and Mediterranean fleets for the period 1919 through 1958. The third mahogany plaque listing the Naval Flag Officer’s of all Royal Navy Aircraft Carrier’s from the various fleets for the time period of 1942 through April 4th, 1992. SIZE: 1) 39″ h x 37-1/2″ w. 2) 60-1/2″ h x 18″ w. 3) 60″ h x 18″ w. CONDITION: Each plaque in very good, original condition with only minor surface scratches present.
