VICTORIAN DIARAMA OF THE TUGBOAT “RAVEN”. Last quarter 19th century. This planked and hand-painted ship model of the “Raven” built by Frank Wiley in the 1880’s and so stated on a period photograph accompanying the model. The model is set within a period frame with mirrored back and fitted within a simulated green ocean. SIZE: Ht 19″ Overall length 40″ Depth 11″ CONDITION: In original condition with old surfaces and good patina. The frame with small losses to gilt accents. Overall good. 9-97408 (2,750-4,750)
