This interesting ledger provides a view of an individual medical practitioner in the mid 19th century in rural New England. The lot is accompanied by a photograph of the doctor taken by “E. M. WHITE, PHOTOGRAPHER, KEENE, NEW HAMPSHIRE” and is also accompanied by an account summary of an alphabetized list of patients, enumerating the status of their account with the doctor. SIZE: 14″h x 10″w x 1-3/4″d. CONDITION: The cover of the leather-bound ledger with overall wear. Spine intact. The matching account summary ledger, bound with marbleized covers, is in overall good condition. Alphabet tabs A-E damaged or absent. Photograph is very good.
